Like Rhône varietals. In Napa Valley. In the middle of an oak forest. At elevation. All on one estate. That was the vision behind Loomis Family Vineyards. Then for four years we tested, tasted and hoped. And guess what? It worked.
Now four carefully selected acres—maximizing exposure, elevation, microclimates, varietal-specific soil conditions and terroir—are planted on our 135-acre Napa ranch. There, blocks of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Counoise come to life on steeply sloping hillsides overlooking green valleys, forests of native oaks, a herd of Black Angus cows, horses, sheep, chickens and a black swan named Zelda. The result? Air, Snow, Ember, and Fire.
