In exceptional years, Fire will spring from the glow of Ember. When we first cleared the hillsides to create our vineyards, this is the wine we dreamed of making. We set out to conceive a wine of truly remarkable structure, and only exceptional vintages are worthy of being bottled and labeled as Fire. Currently in barrel, we hope our Fire will kindle your deepest passions, as it has ours.

The inspiration behind FIRE

“Fire began with a multitude of life-altering experiences, starting most notably with more than a few dusty bicycle trips. Cycling from Avignon and Montfavet to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, I found myself sampling fresh producer releases, straight from jugs. Unforgettable. Next came the single-vineyard releases from the great Guigal: La Landonne, La Turque and La Mouiline. And finally, our local wine shop in Paris has never failed to have a stunning Chave Hermitage, ready to drink. We look forward to sharing the flame from our vineyard.”  – Jeff Loomis
